তাতে কর্মক্ষেত্র ও শিক্ষায় অনেকটাই সুবিধা হয়েছে। আর পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন অপরাধও বেড়েছে। তার শিকার হতে হয় বেশির ভাগ ছাত্র ছাত্রী, যুব সমাজ সহ সমাজের সাদ সীধা সাধারণ মানুষ। কখনো বিভিন্ন প্রলোভনে পা দিয়ে আর্থিক ক্ষতি, কখনো সোস্যাল মিডিয়ায় অসাধু ব্যাক্তির চক্রান্তের ফাঁদে পা দিয়ে সর্বশান্ত হতে হয়েছে। পুলিশ সুত্রে জানা যায় বর্তমানে সাইবার ক্রাইম এতটাই বৃদ্ধি ঘটেছে যার ফলে জেলায় জেলায় সাইবার ক্রাইম থানা গঠন হয়েছে, পাশাপাশি নারী ও শিশুদের নিরাপত্তার দিকেও প্রশাসন যথেষ্ট তৎপরতার সাথে নজর দিয়ে সমাজকে সুরক্ষিত রাখতে বদ্ধ পরিকর পুলিশ প্রশাসন।আজ বেলা বারোটায় নবদ্বীপ রবীন্দ্র সাংস্কৃতিক মঞ্চে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো কৃষ্ণ নগর জেলা পুলিশের উদ্যোগে, নারী পাচার, বাল্যবিবাহ, শিশুশ্রম, যৌন নির্যাতন নিয়ে পুলিশের সচেতনতা শিবির। উপস্থিত ছিলেন কৃষ্ণ নগর জেলা পুলিশের সাইবার ক্রাইম থানার আধিকারিক, নবদ্বীপ থানার আধিকারিক সহ অনেকে। এদিনের অনুষ্ঠানে প্রশাসনের তরফে কি কি ভাবে সাইবার ক্রাইম ঘটে এবং তার থেকে বাঁচার উপায় কি তা নিয়ে বিস্তারিত বিবরণ জানানো হয়। পাশাপাশি বাল্য বিবাহ, শিশু শ্রম নিয়েও বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করেব পুলিশের তরফে। পুলিশের উদ্যোগে নবদ্বীপ শহরের বুকে এহেন সচেতনতা মূলক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করাকে সাধুবাদ জানিয়েছে সকলেই।

Sometimes financial loss by stepping into various temptations, sometimes by stepping into the trap of the conspiracy of dishonest people on social media, they had to be calm. According to police sources, at present, cyber crime has increased so much that cyber crime police stations have been formed in the district, as well as the administration is committed to keep the society safe by paying close attention to the safety of women and children. Krishna Nagar District Police organized an awareness camp on women trafficking, child marriage, child labour and sexual abuse at Nabadwip Rabindra Sangskritik Mancha at 12:00pm today. Officers of Cyber Crime Police Station of Krishna Nagar District Police, Officers of Nabadwip Police Station and many others were present. At the event, the administration gave a detailed account of how cybercrime takes place and how to avoid it. We will also discuss child marriage and child labour in detail. Everyone appreciated the initiative of the police to organize such an awareness program in the heart of Nabadwip city.
