মালদা: রাতের অন্ধকারে মন্দিরে চুরির চেষ্টা, চুরি করতে না পাড়ায় মন্দিরে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেওয়ার অভিযোগ। শনিবার সকালে ঘটনা জানাজানি হতেই ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়ে মালদা শহরের রথবাড়ি এলাকায়। জানা যায় মালদা শহরের রথবাড়ি এলাকায় মালদা কলেজ সংলগ্ন সৎসঙ্গের মন্দির রয়েছে। শুক্রবার গভীর রাতে এই মন্দিরে চুরির চেষ্টা করে কিছু সমাজবিরোধী বলে অভিযোগ। কিন্তু তাদের চেষ্টা ব্যর্থ হওয়ায় মন্দিরে আগুন ধরিয়ে দেওয়া হয় বলে অভিযোগ। মন্দিরে থাকা ইলেকট্রিক কিছু সরঞ্জাম পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে যায়। শনিবার সকালে জানতে পারে মন্দির কর্তৃপক্ষ। ঘটনা ঘিরে ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়ে পড়ে। খবর দেওয়া হয় ইংলিশ বাজার থানায়। মন্দির কর্তৃপক্ষের অভিযোগ সমাজবিরোধীরা এই ঘটনা ঘটিয়েছে। এর আগেও বহুবার এই ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। পুলিশে নিরাপত্তার দাবি তুলেছেন তারা।
