ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ সারা বিশ্ব জুড়ে এখন সময় চরম অস্থিরতার মধ্যে দিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এই পরিস্থিতিতে মানুষের মধ্যে শান্তি ফিরিয়ে আনতে কলকাতার চিনারপার্কে অনুষ্ঠীত হল ২৯ তম বিশ্ব শান্তি সম্মেলন,গ্লোবাল বুদ্ধিস্ট ইউথ ফেস্টিভ্যাল। সিদ্ধার্থ ইউনাইটেড সোস্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার মিশনের উদ্যোগে এই কনফারেন্সে দেশ বিদেশের বুদ্ধিস্ট সংগঠনের সদস্যরা অংশ নেন। উপস্থিত ছিলেন জাপানের ওয়ার্ল্ড ফেলোশিপ অফ বুদ্ধিস্ট সংগঠনের সভাপতি হাকুগা মুরায়ামা,ইউ এস এ র মহাপ্রভু ধমানন্দ মহাথেরো সহ বহু বিশিষ্ট ব্যাক্তি। সিদ্ধার্থ ইউনাইটেড সোশ্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার মিশনের জেনারেল সেক্রেটারি বুদ্ধপ্রিয় মহাথের বলেন, সমস্ত বুদ্ধিস্ট সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে তিনি সারা বিশ্বে শান্তি ফিরে আনার জন্য গৌতম বুদ্ধের আদর্শে মানুষকে এগিয়ে যেতে বলেন।
Indrajit Aich: Time is going through extreme instability all over the world. In this situation, the 29th World Peace Conference, Global Buddhist Youth Festival was held at ChinarPark in Kolkata to restore peace among the people. Members of buddhist organizations from home and abroad participated in the conference organized by Siddhartha United Social Welfare Mission. President of The World Fellowship of Buddhist Organization of Japan Hakuga Murayama, Mahaprabhu Dhamananda Mahathero of USA and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion. Buddhapriya Mahather, general secretary of Siddhartha United Social Welfare Mission, said that on behalf of all buddhist organisations, he asked people to move ahead on the ideals of Gautam Buddha to restore peace across the world.
