ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ কলকাতার অন্যতম নৃত্য প্রতিষ্ঠান সৃজন ছন্দ প্রতি বছর ওড়িশি নৃত্যকে সম্মান জানাতে বহু সাংস্কৃতিক সন্ধ্যা, কর্মশালা ও সেমিনারের আয়োজন করে। সম্প্রতি সৃজন ছন্দের কর্ণধার গুরু শ্রী রাজীব ভট্টার্যের নির্দেশনায় ৭ই এপ্রিল ICCR প্রেক্ষগৃহে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়ে গেল “গুরু স্মরণম”। প্রয়াত গুরু কেলুচরণ মহাপাত্রের ১৯তম মৃত্যুবার্ষিকীর স্মরণে এই সন্ধ্যে নৃত্যপ্রেমীদের কাছে এক অনন্য উপহার হয়ে ওঠে। সৃজন ছন্দের ব্যবস্থাপনা দল, সম্মানিত প্রধান অতিথি, সমালোচক এবং সর্বোপরি নৃত্যপ্রেমীদের সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ন উপস্থিতিতে অনুষ্ঠানকে সাফল্য মণ্ডিত করে। গুরু কেলুচরণ মহাপাত্রের সুযোগ্য পুত্র গুরু রতিকান্ত মহাপাত্র, রাজশ্রী প্রহরাজ, অনিতা মল্লিক, পারমিতা মৈত্র, সন্দীপ মল্লিক, পৌশালী চট্টোপাধ্যায় ও কর্নধার রাজীব ভট্টাচার্যের শ্রদ্ধেয় উপস্থিতি এই অনুষ্ঠানে ভিন্ন মাত্রা যোগ করে। এদিন সঞ্চালনার মাধ্যমে অনুষ্ঠানটিকে সুন্দরভাবে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যান সৃজন ছন্দের প্রবীণ নৃত্যশিল্পী নীলাদ্যুতি চৌধুরী। ওড়িশি-কত্থক যুগলবন্দী “নৃত্যাঞ্জলি” দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠানের শুভারম্ভ হয়। কিরওয়ানী রাগাশ্রিত এই আইটেমের পরিচালনায় যুগ্মভাবে ছিলেন শ্রী রাজীব ভট্টাচার্য ও শ্রীমতি পারমিতা মৈত্র। পরিবেশনায় ছিলেন সৃজন ছন্দ ও নৃত্যাঙ্গনের শিল্পীরা।
এরপর মঞ্চে দলগত ভাবে ‘দশাবতার’ পরিবেশন করেন পৌশালী চট্টোপাধ্যায় ও শিষ্যারা। সুন্দর এক বর্ণ নার পর মনিপুরী আঙ্গিকে বিভিন্ন অবতারকে দক্ষতার সাথে ফুটিয়ে তোলেন সুদক্ষ শিল্পীরা।
মহাকবি কালিদাসের অমর সৃষ্টিকে আধার করে পরিচালক রাজীব ভট্টাচার্যের নৃত্য নির্মাণটি ছিল “ঋতু সংহারম। সুললিত ভঙ্গিমা ও নিখুঁত পদসঞ্চালনে সৃজন ছন্দের শিল্পীদের অসাধারণ পরিবেশনা সন্ধ্যেকে আনন্দমুখর করে তোলে। ছয়টি ঋতুতে ছয় রূপে সেজে ওঠে সমগ্র মঞ্চ। শরতের আগমনের সাথে প্রপসের ব্যাবহার ছিল বিশেষ আকর্ষনীয়। সৌমেন চক্রবর্তীর আলোকসম্পাত, সায়ক মিত্র ও মদনমোহন কুমারের দৃপ্ত কন্ঠস্বর, সুমন সরকারের সংগীত রচনা বিশেষ প্রশংসার দাবি রাখে। ‘গুরু স্মরণম’-এ আমন্ত্রিত বিশিষ্ট নৃত্যগুরুদের একক পরিবেশন পর্বে ছিলেন গুরু রতিকান্ত মহাপাত্র। “শবরী” চরিত্রে তাঁর অভিনয় দর্শকের মনে গভীর দাগ কেটে যায়। এক প্রান্তিক মানুষের ঈশ্বর দর্শনের সেই মুহূর্ত চোখের কোণে জল এনে দেয়। এরপর “মন্থরা” চরিত্রাভিনয়ে ছিলেন শ্রীমতি রাজশ্রী প্রহরাজ। কৌশলে দক্ষ এমন এক বিখ্যাত মহাকাব্যিক চরিত্রের নিপুণ চিত্রন সমগ্র দর্শকের নজর কাড়ে। আলাপ দেশাইয়ের সঙ্গীত পরিচালনা ও দেবীপ্রসাদ মিশ্রের আলোকসজ্জায় প্রেক্ষাগৃহে এক রোমাঞ্চকর পরিবেশ তৈরী হয়। খ্যাতনামা গুরু শ্রীমতি অনিতা মল্লিক উপস্থাপন করেন “স্বাগতম কৃষ্ণ”, ভারতনাট্যমের এই পরিবেশনা ছিল মাধুর্যে পরিপূর্ণ। এরপর শেষ পর্যায়ে সন্দীপ মল্লিক ও তাঁর শিষ্যরা মঞ্চে যেন বর্ষার সঞ্চার করেন, নাচের সাথে সাথে শিল্পীদের কত্থক বোল উচ্চারণের চমৎকারিত্ব সত্যিই প্রশংসনীয়।
Indrajit Aich: Srijan Chanda, one of Kolkata’s leading dance institutes, organizes many cultural evenings, workshops, and seminars every year to honor Odisha’s dance. Recently “Guru Samaranam” was held at ICCR Auditorium on 7th April under Guru Sri Rajeev Bhattarya, Master of Srijan Chhandar. Commemorating the 19th death anniversary of the late Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra, this evening becomes a unique gift to dance lovers. Srijan Chhandar’s management team honored chief guests, critics, and above all dance lovers made the event a success. The venerable presence of Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra’s blessed son Guru Ratikanta Mahapatra, Rajashri Praharaj, Anita Mallick, Paramita Maitra, Sandeep Mallick, Paushali Chattopadhyay, and Karndhar Rajeev Bhattacharya added a different dimension to the event. Niladyuti Chowdhury, a veteran dancer of Srijan Chhand, took the program forward beautifully by conducting on the day. The program started auspiciously with the Odisha-Kathak duo “Nrityanjali”. Kirwani Ragashreet was jointly directed by Mr. Rajeev Bhattacharya and Ms. Paramita Maitra for this item. Srijan Chand and dance artists were in the performance.
Then Paushali Chattopadhyay and his disciples performed ‘Dasavatar’ as a group on the stage. Skilled artists skillfully portray different avatars in Manipuri style after a beautiful color. Director Rajeev Bhattacharya’s dance production based on epic poet Kalidasa’s immortal creation was “Ritu Sangharam. The exquisite performances of Srijan Chanda artists with graceful poses and perfect footwork make the evening a joyous one. The whole stage is decorated in six forms in six seasons. The use of props was especially interesting with the arrival of autumn. Soumen Chakraborty’s lighting, Sayak Mitra and Madanmohan Kumar’s strong voices, and Sumon Sarkar’s music deserve special praise. Guru Ratikant Mahapatra was among the solo performances of eminent dance gurus invited for the ‘Guru Samaranam’. Her performance as “Shabri” left a deep impression on the audience. A marginal man’s moment of seeing God they have brought tears to his eyes. Then there was Mrs. Rajashri Praharaj in the role of “Manthara”. The skillful portrayal of a famous epic character who is skilled in strategy catches the attention of the entire audience. Alap Desai’s music direction and Deviprasad Mishra’s lighting create a thrilling atmosphere in the theatre. Renowned Guru Smt. Anita Mallick presented “Swagtam Krishna”, this rendition of Bharatanatyam was full of sweetness. Then in the last stage, Sandeep Mallik and his disciples channeled the rain on the stage, the excellence of the Kathak bol pronunciation of the artists along with the dance is truly admirable.
