কলকাতা, ২০ জুন: মহম্মদ আলী পার্কের যুব সমিতি আজ রথযাত্রায় খুটি পুজোর সাথে শারদীয় অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা করল, মহম্মদ আলী পার্ক দুর্গা পুজো প্রাঙ্গনে, এমজি মেট্রো স্টেশনের কাছে। মহম্মদ আলী পার্কের যুব সমিতি তার উদ্ভাবনী ধারণা এবং উদযাপনের শৈলীর জন্য শহরের অন্যতম আকর্ষণীয় পুজো। এই পুজো বিশেষভাবে বিখ্যাত তার অনন্য শৈলীর মন্ডপের জন্য এবং এছাড়াও কমিটি সারা বছর ধরে যে সামাজিক কাজ করে থাকে তার জন্য। অনুষ্ঠানটি বিভিন্ন বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের উপস্থিতিতে বর্ণময় হয়ে উঠেছিল। উপস্থিত ছিলেন শ্রীতাপস রায়, বিধায়ক; শ্রীমতী স্মিতা বক্সী, প্রাক্তন বিধায়ক; শ্রী সঞ্জয় বক্সী, প্রাক্তন বিধায়ক; শ্রীমতী রেহানা খাতুন, কাউন্সিলর; শ্রী রাজেশ সিনহা, কাউন্সিলর এবং অন্যান্য অনেক বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্ব। 
সারা শহর জুড়ে খুঁটিপূজা চলছে, পাশাপাশি ঢাক বাজছে, পুজোর আবহে মেতে উঠেছে শহর। তারই মধ্যে মহম্মদ আলী পার্কের যুব সমিতি এই স্বনামধন্য ব্যক্তিত্বদের উপস্থিতিতে দুর্গাপূজার সূচনা করল আজ রথযাত্রার পূণ্য লগ্নে। মহম্মদ আলী পার্কের যুব সংঘ তাদের ঐতিহ্য এবং সৃজনশীলতার সাথে ৫৫ তম বছর উদযাপন করছে। প্যান্ডেল তৈরি, মূর্তি, পরিবেশ, নিরাপত্তা এবং সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির মতো বিষয় উৎসবে তুলে ধরার চিন্তাধারার মাধ্যমে এবং বিশিষ্ট ধারণার মাধ্যমে অনন্যতা এনে সমসাময়িক সব পুজোর মধ্যে একটি বিশেষ স্থান তৈরি করার চেষ্টা করেছে এই কমিটি। মহম্মদ আলী পার্কের যুব সমিতি বিগত বছরগুলি ধরে তাদের অত্যাধুনিক উপস্থাপনার জন্য পরিচিত এবং আশা করি এই বছরেও তাদের উৎকৃষ্টতার আরও বৃহৎ নিদর্শন রাখতে সক্ষম হবে।
মহঃ আলী পার্ক দূর্গা পূজার সাধারণ সম্পাদক মিঃ সুরেন্দ্র কে শর্মা মিডিয়ার সাথে কথা বলতে গিয়ে বলেন, “বিগত বছর ধরে এই পুজোর বিশাল সাফল্যের পর যেখানে আমরা বিভিন্ন বিভাগ থেকে একাধিক পুরস্কার পেয়ে আসছি, সেখানে মহম্মদ আলি পার্ক যুব সমিতির পুরো দল এই বছরের জন্য আবার সম্পূর্ণরূপে চার্জ হয়ে রয়েছে। বিগত বছরগুলিতে আমাদের পুজোয় প্রতিদিন লক্ষ লক্ষ দর্শনার্থী এসেছে।
সমস্ত থিম পুজোর মধ্যে আপনারা শুধু অপেক্ষা করুন এবং আমাদের চমক কি থাকছে তা দেখুন পুজোর সময়। আমরা আত্মবিশ্বাসী যে এই বছরও মানুষ আমাদের প্রচেষ্টার প্রশংসা করবে।” তিনি সকলকে পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের সাথে পূজায় আসার আমন্ত্রণ জানান।
মোঃ আলি পার্কের যুব সংঘ সম্পর্কে: মধ্য কলকাতার সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয় দুর্গাপূজাগুলির মধ্যে একটি যা একজনকে অবশ্যই দেখতে হবে তা হল মহম্মদ আলি পার্ক দুর্গাপূজা যা প্রতি বছর অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এবং দুর্দান্ত স্থাপত্য প্রদর্শন করে। মোহাম্মদ আলী পার্ক দুর্গা পূজা সমিতি বিভিন্ন বিভাগে বেশ কয়েকটি পুরস্কার জিতেছে এবং তাই এটি কলকাতার অন্যতম মর্যাদাপূর্ণ দুর্গাপূজা হিসেবেও বিবেচিত হয় যা ১৯৬৯ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত যুব সমিতি দ্বারা আয়োজিত হয়। এটি উত্তর ও মধ্য কলকাতার সবচেয়ে মর্যাদাপূর্ণ ক্লাবগুলির মধ্যে একটি।
Kolkata, 20th June 2023: Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park heralded the autumnal ritual with the Khuti Puja today on Rath Yatra to mark the start of Durga puja proceedings this year located at Mohammad Ali Park Durga Puja, near MG Metro station. Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park is one of the eye-catcher puja of the city for its innovative concept and celebration style. This Puja is particularly famous for its unique style of pandals and also for the social work which the committee carries out throughout the year. The occasion was glittered by the presence of various eminent personalities like Sri. Tapas Roy, MLA; Smt. Smita Bakshi, Ex MLA; Sri. Sanjay Bakshi, Ex MLA; Smt. Rehana Khatun, Councillor; Sri. Rajesh Sinha, Councillor & many other eminent personalities.
With Khuti Puja happening all over the city and Dhaks playing alongside, the Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park marked the heralding of the Durga Puja with the presence of these renowned personalities. The Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park takes immense pride to celebrate the 55th year with much opulence and creativity. The Committee has always tried to create a niche amongst all contemporary pujas by bringing about uniqueness through the concept and in the thought process that goes into the festivity like pandal creation, idol, ambience, safety and communal harmony. Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park has been known for its state-of-the-art presentation over the years and hopefully, this year will be even grander.
Speaking to the media, Mr Surendra Kr Sharma, General Secretary of Md. Ali Park Durga Puja said, “After its huge success over the years, where we have been receiving multiple awards from different segments, the entire team of Youth Association of Mohammad Ali Park is fully charged up once again for this year also. In the past years, our puja has drawn many lakhs of visitors every day. In the midst of theme pujas all over, just wait and watch for our part of glitters. We are confident that people would appreciate our effort this year too.” he added inviting everyone to come to the puja with family and friends.
