মালদা: যাদের বিবস্ত্র করে মারধর করা হল, সেই দুই মহিলাকেই আবার অন্যায় ভাবে টানা ছয় দিন জেলে ভরে রাখা হল। জেলা পুলিশের কাছে আমরা জানতে চাই কোন মামলায় তাদের ছয় দিন জেলে ভরে রাখা হয়েছিল। পাকুয়াহাট কান্ডে নির্যাতিতা মালদার মানিকচকের দুই মহিলার সাথে দেখা করে সাংবাদিকদের জানালেন জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের চেয়ারপারসন রেখা শর্মা। উল্লেখ্য, চলতি মাসের গত ১৮ তারিখ মালদার বামনগোলা থানার পাকুয়াহাট এলাকায় চোর সন্দেহে দুই মহিলাকে বিবস্ত্র করে মারধর করার অভিযোগ উঠেছিল। কিন্ত দেখা যায় এই ঘটনার পর পুলিশ নির্যাতিতা এই দুই মহিলাকেই গ্রেফতার করে। ঘটনার প্রতিবাদে গোটা জেলা জুড়ে আন্দোলনের ঝড় উঠেছিল। আজ মালদার মানিকচকের বাসিন্দা ওই দুই নির্যাতিতা মহিলার পরিবারের সাথে দেখা করতে মালদায় আছে জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের প্রতিনিধি দল। উপস্থিত ছিলেন জাতীয় মহিলা কমিশনের চেয়ারপারসন রেখা শর্মা। দুই নির্যাতিতা মহিলার সাথে দেখা করে সাংবাদিকদের মুখোমুখি হয় রেখা শর্মা জানান, যাদের বিবস্ত্র করে মারধর করা হল, সেই দুই মহিলাকেই আবার অন্যায় ভাবে টানা ছয় দিন জেলে ভরে রাখা হল। জেলা পুলিশের কাছে আমরা জানতে চাই কোন মামলায় তাদের ছয় দিন জেলে ভরে রাখা হয়েছিল। এই ঘটনা খুব দুঃখজনক।
