মালদা:-রাজ্য সরকারের উদ্যোগে মালদা এই প্রথম চালু হতে চলেছে হস্তশিল্পের হাব। যা উত্তরবঙ্গের মধ্যে সর্বপ্রথম মালদাতেই চালু হচ্ছে বলে মালদা জেলা শিল্প কেন্দ্র সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে। গাজোল ব্লকের আদিনা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের মজলিসবাগ এলাকায় এই হস্তশিল্পের হাব তৈরি হচ্ছে। ইতিমধ্যে সেখানে হস্তশিল্প তৈরীর জন্য ভবন এবং আধুনিক যন্ত্রপাতিও বসানোর কাজ শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে। মূলত বাঁশ এবং পাট দিয়ে তৈরি বিভিন্ন ধরনের হস্তশিল্প আধুনিক যন্ত্রপাতির মাধ্যমে তৈরি করা হবে। যাতে হস্তশিল্পীদের সহজেই বিভিন্ন ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী তৈরি করা এবং তা বিভিন্ন রাজ্যে সরবরাহ করে বিক্রি করা সহজ হয়ে উঠবে। ইতিমধ্যে রাজ্য সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে মালদায় হস্তশিল্প হাব তৈরির জন্য আড়াই কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ করা হয়েছে । সংশ্লিষ্ট দপ্তর সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, বাঁশ এবং পাট থেকে তৈরি বিভিন্ন ধরনের টেবিল ল্যাম্প, জুয়েলারি বাক্স, পাপোশ, টুপি, ব্যাগ, ট্রে, ঝুড়ি সহ নানান ধরনের ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী এবারে আধুনিক মেশিনারির মাধ্যমে সহজেই তৈরি করতে পারবেন প্রশিক্ষিত কারিগড়েরা । এই কাজের ক্ষেত্রে গাজোলের প্রায় ৪০০ জন শিল্পী নতুন করে রোজগারের পথ দেখতে শুরু করেছেন । ইতিমধ্যে উৎকর্ষ বাংলা প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর মহিলাদের হস্তশিল্প তৈরীর ক্ষেত্রে উন্নত মানের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়ার কাজ শুরু করেছে মালদা জেলা শিল্প কেন্দ্র।
গাজোল ব্লকের মজলিসবাগ এলাকার হস্তশিল্প কারিগরের সঙ্গে যুক্ত কর্মীরা জানিয়েছেন, এতদিন তারা বাঁশ এবং পাটের থেকে বিভিন্ন ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী হাত দিয়েই তৈরি করে আসছিলেন। এই ধরনের ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী চাহিদা সারা বছরই থাকে। মূলত বিভিন্ন মেলাতে বাঁশ এবং পাটের তৈরি ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী ব্যাপক চাহিদা রয়েছে। কিন্তু হাত দিয়ে ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী তৈরি করার ক্ষেত্রে অনেকটাই সময় সাপেক্ষ ব্যাপার হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। সেই দিকে লক্ষ্য রেখে রাজ্য সরকার একটি ক্লাস্টার তৈরি করেই এই হস্তশিল্প হাব তৈরীর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে মজলিসবাগ এলাকায়। ইতিমধ্যে হস্তশিল্প তৈরীর ক্ষেত্রে অত্যাধুনিক মেশিনারি বসিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই কাজের জন্য খাদি শিল্পও প্রত্যক্ষভাবে সহযোগিতা করছে। আগামীতে মালদার এই হস্তশিল্প বিদেশের বাজারে রপ্তানি করার ক্ষেত্রেও উদ্যোগ নেওয়ার কথা জানিয়েছে জেলা শিল্প কেন্দ্র কর্তৃপক্ষ। মালদা জেলা শিল্প কেন্দ্রের জেনারেল ম্যানেজার মানবেন্দ্র মন্ডল জানিয়েছেন, মজলিসবাগ এলাকায় এই হস্তশিল্পের হাব তৈরি হয়েছে। যেখানে আধুনিক মেশিনারির মাধ্যমে বাঁশ এবং পাট থেকে নতুন নতুন ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী তৈরি করা হবে। মূলত বিভিন্ন স্বনির্ভর গোষ্ঠীর প্রশিক্ষিত মহিলারা এই কাজের সঙ্গে যুক্ত রয়েছেন । ইতিমধ্যে উৎকর্ষ বাংলার মাধ্যমে শিল্পীদের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়ার কাজও শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে। প্রতিবছরই এই হস্তশিল্পের সামগ্রিকগুলি চেন্নাই, মুম্বাই, গোয়া , দিল্লি, কেরল রাজ্যের রপ্তানি হয়ে থাকে। এগুলির অনেক চাহিদা রয়েছে। সুতরাং এই শিল্পকে আরো উন্নততর করতে রাজ্য সরকার আধুনিক মেশিনারির মাধ্যমে সহজেই বাঁশ ও পাটের তৈরি ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী উৎপাদন করার উদ্যোগী হয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যে মজলিশবাগে হস্তশিল্পের কাজ শুরু হয়ে গিয়েছে। এদিকে এই হস্তশিল্পের সঙ্গে যুক্ত মহিলা কর্মীরা মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা ব্যানার্জিকে ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছেন। তাঁরা বলেন, আধুনিক মেশিনারির মাধ্যমে ঘরোয়া সামগ্রী তৈরির ক্ষেত্রে অনেক সহজ হবে এবং রোজগারের পথও আরো মজবুত হবে।
Malda:- Under the initiative of the state government, Malda is going to be the first handicraft hub. According to Malda District Industries Center, which is being launched in Malda for the first time in North Bengal. This handicraft hub is coming up in the Majlis Bagh area of Adina Gram Panchayat in Gajol Block. Already the work of setting up buildings and modern types of equipment for making handicrafts has also started there. A variety of handicrafts mainly made of bamboo and jute will be made using modern machinery. So that it will become easy for artisans to make various household items and sell them by supplying them in different states. Already, two and a half crore rupees have been allocated by the state government for the creation of a handicraft hub in Malda. According to the sources of the concerned department, various types of table lamps, jewelry boxes, purposes, hats, bags, trays, and baskets made of bamboo and jute can be easily made by trained artisans through modern machinery. About 400 artists of Gajol have started to see a new way of earning from this work. Meanwhile, Malda District Industrial Center has started the work of imparting quality training in handicrafts to women of various self-help groups through the Utkarsh Bangla project. The workers associated with the handicraft artisans of the Majlisbagh area of Ghazol block said that till now they were making various household items from bamboo and jute by hand. The demand for such household items remains throughout the year. Mainly there is a huge demand for household items made of bamboo and jute in various fairs. But making household goods by hand became a very time-consuming affair. Keeping that in mind, the state government has decided to make this handicraft hub in the Majlisbagh area by creating a cluster. Sophisticated machinery has already been installed in the manufacture of handicrafts. Khadi industry is also directly supporting this work. In the future, the district industrial center authorities have also announced that they will take initiatives to export these handicrafts of Malda to foreign markets. Manvendra Mondal, General Manager of Malda District Industries Centre, said that this handicraft hub has been created in the Majlisbagh area. Where new home goods will be made from bamboo and jute through modern machinery. Basically trained women from various self-help groups are involved in this work. Already, the work of training artists through Utkarsh Bangla has also started. Every year these handicraft aggregates are exported to Chennai, Mumbai, Goa, Delhi, and Kerala states. They are in high demand. So, to improve this industry, the state government has taken the initiative to produce household goods made of bamboo and jute easily through modern machinery. Handicraft work has already started at Majlish Bagh. Meanwhile, women workers associated with this handicraft thanked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. They said that the production of household goods will be much easier with modern machinery and the way of earning will also be stronger.
