উত্তর ২৪ পরগণার জেলা প্রতিনিধি সুমাল্য মৈত্রের রিপোর্ট : মধ্যমগ্ৰামের কোটি কোটি মানুষদের নিত্য দিনের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিবহন হয়ে গেছে টোটো এবং ই – রিক্সা।নিজের গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানই হোক বা ট্রেন বাস ধরার জন্যই হোক বা রাত বিরেতে মুমুর্ষ মানুষকে হাসপাতালে পৌঁছে দেওয়াই হোক মানুষের ভরসা সেই টোটোই। সেই টোটো এবং ই- রিক্সাকেই এবার QR কোড প্রদান করা হচ্ছে মধ্যমগ্ৰাম পুরসভার উদ্যোগে । বুধবার ২৩ শে অগাষ্ট থেকে ২৬ শে অগাষ্ট শনিবার পর্যন্ত এই কর্মসূচি চলল মধ্যমগ্ৰামে। মোট ৩৯ টা রুটের টোটোকে QR কোড দেওয়া হল । মোট ১ হাজার ১০০ বৈধ টোটোকে QR কোড দেওয়া হচ্ছে । এতে করে যাত্রী সুরক্ষাও যে নিশ্চিত হবে । QR কোড দেওয়া সমগ্ৰ টোটো চালকদের সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান করা হবে পুরসভার পক্ষ থেকে । এই QR কোডের পুরো ডেটাবেশ থাকবে বারাসাত RTO এবং মধ্যমগ্ৰাম পুরসভার কাছে ।

The toto and e-rickshaws are now being given QR codes by the Madhyamgram Municipal Corporation. The programme will be held from Wednesday, August 23 to Saturday, August 26. A total of 39 routes have been given QR codes. A total of 1,100 valid totos are being given QR codes. This will also ensure passenger safety. Certificates will be issued by the municipal corporation to all drivers who have been given QR codes. The entire QR code data will be available to The Barasat RTO and Madhyamgram Municipal Corporation.
