জয়দীপ মৈত্র, দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর: নদীতে স্নান করতে গিয়ে জলে ডুবে মৃত্যু হলো এক কিশোরের। চাঞ্চল্যকর এই ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার গঙ্গারামপুর থানার শুকদেবপুর দাসপাড়া এলাকায়। জানা গিয়েছে ,বুধবার সকালে গঙ্গারামপুরের পুনর্ভবা নদীতে স্নান করতে যায় তিন বন্ধু,যার পরেই স্নান করতে গিয়ে নদীতে তলিয়ে যায় গোবিন্দ দাস (১৬) নামের ওই কিশোর । বিষয়টি পরিবারের লোকজনদের নজরে আসতেই খুজাখুজি শুরু হয়, বাড়ির লোকেরা গঙ্গারামপুর থানায় জানালে গঙ্গারামপুর থানার পুলিশের সহযোগিতায় ডুবুরিরা জলে খোঁজাখুঁজি শুরু করতে থাকে। এরপর বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে ওই কিশোরের মৃতদেহ ভেসে ওঠে। বৃহস্পতিবার দুপুর ১২ টা নাগাদ গঙ্গারামপুর থানার পুলিশ মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করে বালুরঘাটে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য পাঠিয়ে পুরো ঘটনার তদন্ত শুরু করেছে গঙ্গারামপুর থানার পুলিশ। ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে এলাকায় চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ানোর পাশাপাশি ওই পরিবারের শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে।

This sensational incident happened in the Shukdevpur Daspara area of the Ganga Rampur police station of South Dinajpur district. It is known that on Wednesday morning, three friends went to take a bath in the Punarbhaba River in Ganga Rampur, after which a teenager named Gobind Das (16) drowned in the river while taking a bath. When the matter came to the attention of the family members, the search began. When the family members informed the Ganga Rampur police station, divers started searching in the water with the help of the Ganga Rampur police station. Then on Thursday morning, the body of the teenager was found. Police of Ganga Rampur police station recovered the dead body and sent it to Balurghat for post-mortem at around noon on Thursday. Apart from spreading sensation in the area based on the incident, the shadow of the family’s grief has come down.
