Kolkata, October 2023: The most awaited and revered festival of Durgo Pujo is just around the corner, and the Metropolitan Durgabari is all set to host a spectacular celebration from Mahalaya to Dashami. The festivities will kick off with the grand Mahalaya Opening, featuring esteemed Director Shibaprasad Mukherjee and Chief Guest MMIC Jiban Saha.
The Durgo Pujo festivities at Metropolitan Durgabari promise an unforgettable experience, bringing together culture, tradition, and the spirit of togetherness. This year’s event will span from Mahalaya, marking the symbolic arrival of Goddess Durga, to Dashami, when the idol immersion takes place.
The Mahalaya Opening on Saturday, October 14th was graced by the presence of Director Shibaprasad Mukherjee, renowned for his contributions to Bengali cinema. His participation added a touch of glamour and creativity to the event, promising an auspicious beginning.
