বিশিষ্ট বিজ্ঞানী ও বিজ্ঞান বিষয়ক ‘নেচার’ পত্রিকার লেখিকা কানাডা প্রবাশী আনন্দী ভট্টাচার্যকে তার বহুমুখি কাজের জন্যে সম্মানীত করল কলকাতার ভাষা সংসদ-অনুবাদ পত্রিকা। 
কলকাতার ভবানীপুর এডুকেশান সোসাইটিতে এক অনুষ্ঠানে এই সংস্থার পক্ষ থেকে এক অনুষ্ঠানে তার হাতে ‘অনন্য সৃজন’ পুরস্কার তুলে দেওয়া হয়। কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে স্নাতোকোত্তর করে স্কলারশীপ নিয়ে উচ্চ শিক্ষার জন্যে আমেরিকা যান আনন্দি। তারপর এইচ আই ভি নিয়ে গবেষণা শুরু করেন কানাডার টরেন্টোতে। পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে নানারকম পুঁতি সংগ্রহ করে মালা গেঁথে বন্ধুদের উপহার দেওয়া ছিল তাঁর নেশা ও ভালোবাসা। গান,নাচ এবং আঁকাতেও তিনি সমান পারদর্শী। কোভিডের ঠিক আগে স্বামী এবং শিশুপুত্রকে নিয়ে ভারতে ফিরে আসেন। স্বামী আই আই এম বেঙ্গালুরুতে অর্থনীতির অধ্যাপক। সেই সূত্রে বর্তমানে তিনি বেঙ্গালুরুতে থাকেন।
আনন্দী জানান, তার কাজের জন্যে এই পুরষ্কার পেয়ে তিনি খুবই খুশি। তিনি বলেন, কোভিডের পর দেশে ফিরে তার নেশাই হয়ে ওঠে তাঁর পেশা। তাঁর প্রতিষ্ঠিত ‘ইদনানা ক্রিয়েশনস্’ বিখ্যাত পত্রিকা সানন্দার বোধন ২০২৩ সংখ্যায় গহনার আলোকচিত্র সহ আলোচিত ও সমাদৃত। খুব শীঘ্রই আনন্দী-র ইদনানা ক্রিয়েশনস্ হীরের অলঙ্কার এর জগতে প্রবেশ করছে। এই পুরষ্কার আনন্দিকে আরো নিত্যনতুন কাজে অনুপ্রেরণা যোগাবে বলে তিনি মনে করেন। আনন্দী ছাড়াও এদিন অনন্য সৃজন সম্মান তুলে দেওয়া হয় বিশিষ্ট চিত্রশিল্পী সুব্রত ঘোষ, চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাতা শঙ্খ ঘোষ, মনোরোগ বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক ডক্টর দেবাঞ্জন পান এবং বিশিষ্ট নিউরো সার্জেন্ট ডক্টর অমিতাভ চন্দের হাতে। পুরস্কার তুলে দেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের প্রাক্তন বিচারপতি অশোক গাঙ্গুলী, চলচ্চিত্র নির্দেশক ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গ শিশু সুরক্ষা কমিশনের উপদেষ্টা সুদেষ্ণা রায়। 
Anandi Bhattacharya, a distinguished scientist and writer of science magazine ‘Nature’ has been honored by Calcutta Bhasha Sangsad-Anuvada Patrika for her versatile work. He was presented with the ‘Unique Creation’ award by this organization at a function held at Bhavanipur Education Society, Kolkata. After graduating from Calcutta University, Anandi went to America for higher education with a scholarship. Then he started researching HIV in Toronto, Canada. His addiction and love was to collect various beads from different countries of the world and make garlands and give gifts to friends. He is equally good at singing, dancing and drawing. Returned to India with husband and infant son just before covid. Swamy is a Professor of Economics at IIM Bangalore. According to that source, he currently resides in Bangalore. Anandi said that she is very happy to receive this award for her work. He said, after returning home after covid, addiction became his profession. His established ‘Idnana Creations’ featured in the famous magazine Sanandar Bodhan 2023 issue with photographs of jewelery discussed and appreciated. Very soon Anandi’s Idnana Creations is entering the world of diamond jewellery. He believes that this award will inspire Anandi to do more innovative work. Apart from Anandi, distinguished painter Subrata Ghosh, film maker Shankh Ghosh, psychiatrist Dr. Debanjan Pan and eminent neuro sergeant Dr. Amitabh Chand were given the unique creation honor on the day. The award was presented by former Supreme Court Justice Ashok Ganguly, film director and West Bengal Child Protection Commission Advisor Sudeshna Roy.
