মোহাম্মদ জাকারিয়াঃ সাধারণ পরিবারের অসাধারণ সাহসী বালক মোরসালিম। সপ্তম শ্রেনীর এই ছাত্রের উপস্থিত বুদ্ধিতে রক্ষা পেল কয়েকশো যাত্রী, দুর্ঘটনার হাত থেকে বেঁচে ফিরলো আপ কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এক্সপ্রেস। জীবনের ঝুঁকি নিয়ে এই ছোট্ট কিশোরের যাত্রীবাহী সুপারফাস্ট ট্রেনের কয়েকশো যাত্রীর জীবন বাঁচানোর ছবি সামাজিক মাধ্যমে ভাইরাল হতেই প্রশংসার ঝড় উঠেছে। যা দেখে রীতিমত স্তম্ভিত রেলকর্তারাও। শুক্রবার বিকালে উত্তরপূর্ব সীমান্ত রেলের মালদার ভালুকারোড স্টেশনের এক কিলোমিটার দূরের ঘটনা। দুরন্ত গতিতে আপ কাঞ্চনজঙ্ঘা এক্সপ্রেস ছুটে যাচ্ছিল। ট্রেন লাইনের পাশ দিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরতে থাকা এই বছর ১৩ এর কিশোর লক্ষ্য করে আপ-লাইনে বেশ কিছু অংশের মাটি সরে গেছে। তড়িঘড়ি নিজের পরনের লাল গেঞ্জি খুলে ট্রেনের ট্রাকে দাঁড়িয়ে সংকেত দিতে থাকে চালককে। লাল সংকেত দেখে চালক এমারজেন্সি ব্রেক কষে ট্রেনটি দাঁড় করান। আর বড়সড় বিপদ থেকে রক্ষা পায় এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনটি। রাজ্য সরকারের তরফে এই সাহসী বালকের সঙ্গে দেখা করতে যান সংখ্যালঘু উন্নয়ন দফতরের রাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী তজমুল হোসেন। রাজ্যের তরফে মোরসালিমকে তার সাহসিকতার জন্য পুরস্কৃত করা হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন মন্ত্রী। কেবল রাজ্য স্তরে নয়, তার বিদ্যালয়ের তরফে তাকে পুরস্কৃত করা হবে।
পাশাপাশি পশ্চিমবঙ্গ শেরশাবাদিয়া বিকাশ পরিষদের উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলা কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে মোর সালিমকে বিশেষ সংবর্ধনা দেওয়া হয়। মোর সালিম যদি পড়াশোনা করতে চায় তাহলে সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে তার সমস্ত দায়িত্ব নেওয়া হবে বলে জানিয়েছেন শেরশাহবাদিয়া বিকাশ পরিষদের উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলা সভাপতি মতিউর রহমান মাদানী। এই সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন শেরশাবাদিয়া বিকাশ পরিষদের উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলা সভাপতি মতিউর রহমান মাদানী, শেরশাবাদিয়া বিকাশ পরিষদের উত্তর দিনাজপুর জেলা সহ সেক্রেটারি মোতাআল্লিম মাদানী, কোষাধ্যক্ষ মতিউর রহমান মাদানী, সংগঠনের অন্যতম মুখ আজাদ আলী, মুসলেহ উদ্দিন সহ আরো অনেকেই।

The picture of this little teenager risking his life to save the lives of hundreds of passengers on the superfast train has gone viral on social media. The railway officials were shocked to see that. The incident occurred one kilometre away from North East Frontier Railway’s Malda Valukaroad station on Friday afternoon. Up Kanchenjunga Express was running at breakneck speed. A 13-year-old teenager who was walking home along the train line noticed that several parts of the up-line had moved. He quickly took off his red gingham stood on the train truck and signalled to the driver. Seeing the red signal, the driver pressed the emergency brake to stop the train. And the express train was saved from the biggest danger. Tajmul Hossain, Minister of State for Minority Development, went to meet this brave boy on behalf of the state government. The minister said that Mursaleem will be awarded for his bravery by the state. He will be awarded not only at the state level but also by his school. Besides, Mor Salim was given a special welcome by the North Dinajpur District Committee of West Bengal Shershabadia Development Parishad. If More Salim wants to study, then all his responsibilities will be taken from the organization, said Matiur Rahman Madani, Uttar Dinajpur district president of Shershahbadia Bikas Parishad.
