রাজেন্দ্র নাথ দত্ত:মুর্শিদাবাদ : মুর্শিদাবাদের ‘বোমা কারিগরেরা’ উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে দক্ষিণবঙ্গ, কোচবিহার থেকে কাকদ্বীপ, রাজ্যের সীমানা পেরিয়ে ভিন্ রাজ্যেও ‘চাহিদা’ মতো ‘যোগান’ দিচ্ছে। সারা বছরই চাহিদা থাকে। বছরভর ‘কারিগরদের’ হাতে কাজও থাকে। সাথে রয়েছেন বীরভূমের কিছু কারিগরও।তাই যোগানেরও অভাব নেই। তবে ভোটের বাজারে নাওয়া-খাওয়া ভুলেছেন সেই কারিগরেরা। রীতিমতো গবেষণা চালানোর ঢঙে আনা হচ্ছে ‘দক্ষ কারিগরদের’। তৈরি হচ্ছে ‘নতুন’ বিস্ফোরক। ভোটের আগে তাঁদের নতুন ‘উদ্ভাবনী’ ‘চায়না বোমা’ ভোটের বাজারে কার্যত ‘হট কেক’। নতুন এই বোমার চাহিদা অনেকটা কালীপুজো, দীপাবলির আগে বাজির মতো। সরবরাহ দিতে হিমশিম খাচ্ছেন ‘নতুন পণ্যের’ আবিষ্কারক মহল্লা। এখন এঁদের রুখে দিয়ে লোকসভা ভোট শান্তিপূর্ণ করা প্রশাসনের কাছে বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ।
রাজ্য পুলিশের গোয়েন্দা দফতরের একটি সূত্রে খবর, এই প্রথম বার মুর্শিদাবাদের জলঙ্গিতে তৈরি হচ্ছে নতুন রকমের এই বোমা এবং বোমা তৈরির মশলা। ইতিমধ্যে জলঙ্গির ফরাজিপাড়ার এক ব্যক্তিকে গ্রেফতার করে বীরভূমের মল্লারপুর থেকে প্রচুর পরিমাণে চায়না বোমা তৈরি হয়েছে। সোমবার সকালেই তিন ড্রাম ভর্তি এই নয়া বিস্ফোরক উদ্ধার হয়েছে। সেই সূত্র ধরে ‘চায়না বারুদ’-এর সন্ধান মিলেছে বীরভূমের লাভপুরে। ধৃতের ফোন ঘেঁটে উদ্ধার হয়েছে বীরভূমের এক নেতার নাম। তা নিয়ে তদন্ত চলছে। কিন্তু এই ‘চায়না বোমা’ ঠিক কী? কতটা বিপজ্জনক এই বোমা? এসটিএফের দাবি, ‘চায়না বারুদ’-এর মান এবং বোমার মশলা নিয়ে অসন্তোষ প্রকাশ করতে শোনা গিয়েছে বীরভূমের ওই নেতাকে। সেই সূত্রে সিউড়ি থানার পুলিশ ক্রেতা সেজে নতুনপল্লি থেকে তাঁকে গ্রেফতার করেছে। তাঁর কাছে পাওয়া গিয়েছে চায়না বারুদ। পরে ধৃতকে নিয়ে তাঁর তিলপাড়ার বাড়িতে গিয়ে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে বাড়ির পিছনে রাখা ইটের স্তুপ এবং নির্মীয়মাণ বাড়ির ভিতরে প্রচুর পরিমাণ ‘চায়না বারুদ’ বাজেয়াপ্ত হয়েছে। তার পর থেকে তল্লাশি বাড়ায় পুলিশ। জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে মূল মাথার সন্ধান মেলে মুর্শিদাবাদের ডোমকল, জলঙ্গি এবং শমসেরগঞ্জ থেকে।পুলিশ সূত্রে খবর, ধৃতেরা জিজ্ঞাসাবাদে জানিয়েছেন যে, উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারতের অরুণাচল প্রদেশ থেকে অসম হয়ে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে আসছে এই বিশেষ বোমার মশলা। অন্য দিকে, উত্তরপ্রদেশ থেকে এই মশলা ঢুকছে বীরভূমে। আর এই গোটা র্যাকেট সামলাচ্ছেন মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার তিন জন। যাঁরা ইতিমধ্যে বাংলাদেশে আত্মগোপন করেছেন বলে খবর পেয়েছেন তদন্তকারীরা। তবে শাগরেদদের খোঁজে রাজ্যের নানা জায়গায় তল্লাশি চালাচ্ছেন গোয়েন্দারা।মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার ফরেন্সিক বিশেষজ্ঞরা জানাচ্ছেন, দীর্ঘ দিন ধরে দেশি লাল এবং কালো বারুদের সঙ্গে গন্ধক মিশিয়ে তৈরি হত হতো বোমার মশলা। তা দিয়েই তৈরি হয় সুতলি, কৌটো এবং সকেটের মতো বিস্ফোরক বোমা। বিভিন্ন নির্বাচনের সময় ওইগুলোই মূলত অস্ত্র দুষ্কৃতীদের। তবে বাংলায় ‘বোমার জগতে’ নতুন অতিথি ‘চায়না বারুদ’-এর। আর তাতেই যেন পোয়া বারো বোমা কারিগরদের।বিশেষজ্ঞরা জানাচ্ছেন, ‘চায়না বারুদ’-এ আনুপাতিক হারে অনেক বেশি পরিমাণ ফসফরাসের ব্যবহার করা হয়, যাতে বিস্ফোরণের সময় বোমার ঝলকানি হয় চোখ ধাঁধানোর মতো। যেখানে ওই বিস্ফোরক ফাটানো হয় সেখানে এমন ধোঁয়া হয় যে কিছু ক্ষণের কিচ্ছু দেখা যায় না। আর আওয়াজ সাধারণ বোমার থেকে কয়েক গুণ বেশি এবং বিকট। তবে বোমার বাজারে এর চাহিদা বৃদ্ধির আরও এক বড় কারণ হল দাম। ‘চায়না বারুদ’-এর দাম দেশি বারুদের থেকে অনেক কম। এই বোমা বিক্রি করে লাভ বেশি। তা ছাড়া বোমা বাঁধার সময় নাকি ঝুঁকিও কম। সহজে ফাটে না।
তদন্তকারীদের সূত্রে খবর, দুটি পথে রাজ্যে ঢুকছে ‘চায়না মশলা’। চিন থেকে অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ হয়ে উত্তর-পূর্ব ভারতের রাজ্যগুলি ঘুরে মুর্শিদাবাদে এর ‘প্রবেশ’। আবার উত্তরপ্রদেশ ঘুরে মুর্শিদাবাদ ও ঝাড়খণ্ডের দুটি দিক থেকে জেলায় ঢুকছে মশলা। জেলার বেশ কয়েক জায়গায় এই মশলা মজুতের আশঙ্কা করছে পুলিশ। জানা যাচ্ছে, ক্যুরিয়ার সার্ভিস ব্যবহার করে মাস্টারমাইন্ডদের কাছ থেকে কারিগরদের হাতে পৌঁছে যাচ্ছে মশলা। এখন বাংলা তো বটেই, ওড়িশার মতো রাজ্য থেকে অহরহ বরাত আসছে চায়না বোমার। সড়ক এবং রেলপথে এই বোমা পৌছে দেওয়া হচ্ছে নির্দিষ্ট গন্তব্যে। এ বার ভোটে বিকট শব্দ এবং ধোঁয়ার ‘বিজ্ঞাপন’ দেখিয়ে ‘বোমা শিল্প’-এর প্রায় বেশির ভাগ জায়গাই দখল করে নিয়েছে ‘চায়না বোমা’। নাম প্রকাশে অনিচ্ছুক পুলিশের এক কর্তার কথায়, ‘‘ভোটের সময়ে বিরোধীদের উপর হামলা এবং সাধারণ মানুষের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক তৈরির চেষ্টায় বোমার ব্যবহার করে দুষ্কৃতীরা। সব সময় কাউকে আক্রমণের লক্ষ্য থাকে না দুষ্কৃতীদের। বরং ধোঁয়া এবং শব্দ দিয়ে এলাকায় ত্রাস সৃষ্টি করতে চায় তারা।’’ আর সেখানেই নাকি ‘চায়না বোমা’র ‘সাফল্য’।জঙ্গিপুরের পুলিশ জেলার সুপার আনন্দ রায়ের বক্তব্যও তাই। তিনি বলেন, ‘‘লোকসভা ভোটের মুখে আমরা সবটাই নজরে রাখছি। তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে নজরদারি ও অভিযান চলবে।’’
