জয়দীপ মৈত্র,দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর: বেহাল রাস্তার অবস্থা,রাস্তায় বড়ো বড়ো গর্ত , এতো রাস্তা নয় দেখে মনে হয় আস্থ একটি ছোট পুকুর। দীর্ঘ প্রায় পাঁচ কিলোমিটার রাস্তার এমনি দশা। দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার গঙ্গারামপুর ব্লকের ৩/২ বেলবাড়ি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের ঠ্যাঙ্গাপাড়া জালালপুর রাজ্য সড়কের ঘটনা। রাস্তায় ছোট বড় প্রচুর গর্ত আর তাতে ভর্তি জমা জল।সেই রাস্তায় চলাচল করতে নাজেহালে পড়তে হয় গ্রামবাসীদের পাশাপাশি পথচলতি সাধারণ মানুষদের। ভোটের সময় এই রাস্তা মেরামতের আশ্বাস নেতারা দিলেও ভোট পার হয়ে গেলে নেতাদের টিকিও পাওয়া যায় না। রাস্তা মেরামতের দাবি তুলেছেন গ্রামবাসীরা। দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার গঙ্গারামপুর ব্লকের ৩/২ বেলবাড়ি গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের ঠ্যাঙ্গাপাড়া থেকে জালালপুর দক্ষিণ গ্রামের রাস্তার বেহাল দশা।দীর্ঘ প্রায় পাঁচ কিলোমিটার রাস্তায় বড়ো বড়ো গর্ত,রাস্তার চেহারা কঙ্কালে পরিণত হয়েছে।এই রাস্তার উপর দিয়ে চলাচল করতে হয় ঠ্যাঙ্গাপাড়া, শিয়োল,জামার, বাসকুরি,মহিপুর, নান্দুরা,দক্ষিণ গ্রাম সহ বেশ কয়েকটি গ্রামের বাসিন্দাদের ,যাতায়াতের একমাত্র পথ এই রাস্তা।এই রাস্তা ধরেই স্কুল,কলেজ, অঙ্গনওয়ারী কেন্দ্র ,বাজার – হাটে যেতে হয় ওই বেশ কয়েকটি গ্রামের মানুষদের। গ্রামবাসীদের অভিযোগ,ঠ্যাঙ্গাপাড়া থেকে জালালপুর দক্ষিণ গ্রামের রাস্তার বেহাল দশা, খাল খন্ডে ভরা এই রাস্তা।সামান্য বৃষ্টি হলেই জল জমে এই রাস্তায়।রাস্তায় বড়ো বড়ো গর্ত থাকায় যাতায়াতের অযোগ্য হয়ে পড়ে।চলাচলে অসুবিধা হয় স্কুল ও কলেজ পড়ুয়াদের। রাস্তা বেহাল থাকায় প্রতিনিয়ত পথ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। ভোটের সময় এই রাস্তা মেরামতের আশ্বাস নেতারা দিলেও ভোট পার হয়ে গেলে নেতাদের টিকিও পাওয়া যায় না বলে অভিযোগ।গ্রামবাসীদের দাবি দ্রুত রাস্তা মেরামত করুক প্রশাসন।
যদিও ওই এলাকার জেলা পরিষদের সদস্য তথা তৃণমূলে জেলা সভাপতি মৃণাল সরকার জানিয়েছেন,ওই রাস্তার মেরামতের ট্রেন্ডারের প্রথম ডাক দেওয়া হয়েছে,দ্রুত রাস্তা মেরামত করা হবে।
Joydeep Maitra, South Dinajpur: Bad Road condition, big potholes on the road, not so many roads, it seems like Astha is a small pond. This is the condition of the nearly five-kilometer-long road. The incident occurred on Thangapara Jalalpur State Road in 3/2 Belbari Village Panchayat of Gangarampur Block of Dakshin Dinajpur District. There are many small and big potholes in the road and water filled in it. The villagers as well as the common people have to suffer to travel on that road. Even though the leaders promised to repair this road during the vote, the leaders do not even get the support when the vote is passed. The villagers have raised the demand for road repair. The road from Thangapara to Jalalpur South Village of 3/2 Belbari Village Panchayat of Gangarampur Block of South Dinajpur District is in poor condition. The road is about five kilometers long with big potholes and the road has turned into a skeleton. Thangapara, Sheol, Jamar, Baskuri, have to travel on this road. This road is the only way for the residents of several villages including Mahipur, Nandura, Dakshin village. The people of those several villages have to go to school, college, Anganwari center, market – through this road. Villagers complain that the road from Thangapara to Jalalpur South village is in poor condition, this road is full of canals. When it rains, water accumulates on this road. The road is impassable because of big potholes. It is difficult for school and college students to travel. Due to the bad condition of the road, road accidents happen regularly. It is alleged that even though the leaders promised to repair the road during the polling, the leaders were not even found when the vote was passed. The villagers demanded that the administration repair the road quickly. Although the district council member and Trinamool district president Mrinal Sarkar said that the first call for the repair of the road has been made, the road will be repaired quickly.
