জয়দীপ মৈত্র, দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর: দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের বঙ্গ জননী মহিলা সংগঠনের সভানেত্রী পদে নিযুক্ত হলেন গঙ্গারামপুরের ৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের প্রাক্তন কাউন্সিলর দেবযানী দত্ত। দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার গঙ্গারামপুরের ৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের বাসিন্দা দেবযানী দত্ত, তিনি বর্তমানে গঙ্গারামপুরের নিরঞ্জন ঘোষ স্মৃতি বিদ্যাপিঠের শিক্ষিকা। ২০১১ সাল থেকে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সঙ্গে যুক্ত রয়েছেন দেবযানী দত্ত বলে খবর। মহিলা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের কার্যকারী সভানেত্রী পদ, গঙ্গারামপুর পৌরসভা নয় নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের কাউন্সিলর পদ ও জেলা বঙ্গ জননী কার্যকরী সভানেত্রী পদও বিভিন্ন সময় তিনি সামলেছেন। মহিলা রাজনৈতিক সমীকরণের দিকে নজর রেখে জেলা বঙ্গ জননী সভানেত্রীর পদ দিয়েছেন জেলা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস নেতৃত্বরা। যে খবর ওই মহিলা নেত্রী দেবযানি দত্ত জানার পরেই সাধারণ মানুষের বাড়ি বাড়ি গিয়ে মহিলাদের একত্রিত করার পরিকল্পনা করার পাশাপাশি রাজ্য সরকারের একাধিক উন্নয়নমূলক প্রকল্পের কথাও সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে তুলে ধরায় তার প্রথম কাজ হবে বলে জানিয়েছিলেন দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলার বঙ্গজননী নব নিযুক্ত সভানেত্রী দেবযানী দত্ত। দক্ষিণ দিনাজপুর জেলা বঙ্গ জননী সভানেত্রী পদে দেবযানী দত্ত নিযুক্ত হওয়ায় খুশির হওয়া মহিলা কর্মীদের মধ্যে। 
Jaideep Maitra, Dakshin Dinajpur: Former councilor of Ward No. 9, Gangarampur, Devyani Dutta has been appointed as the President of Banga Janani Mahila Sangathan of Dakshin Dinajpur District Trinamool Congress. Devyani Dutta is a resident of Ward No. 9, Gangarampur, South Dinajpur District, and is currently a teacher at Niranjan Ghosh Smriti Vidyapith, Gangarampur. It is reported that Devyani Dutta has been associated with the Trinamool Congress since 2011. She has also held the post of working president of Mahila Trinamool Congress, the post of councilor of Ward No. 9 of Gangarampur municipality and the post of District Banga Janani working president. District Trinamool Congress leaders have given the post of district Bengal Janani president with an eye on women’s political equation. After hearing the news of the woman leader Debyani Dutta, the newly appointed president of Bangajanani of South Dinajpur district said that her first task would be to plan to unite women from house to house and also to present the various development projects of the state government to the common people. Among the women activists who were happy as Debyani Dutta was appointed as the Dakshin Dinajpur District Banga Janani Sabhanetri.
