রাজেন্দ্র নাথ দত্ত:মুর্শিদাবাদ : লোকসভা ভোটের আবহে এই প্রথম বার এক ফ্রেমে এলেন প্রদেশ কংগ্রেস সভাপতি অধীর চৌধুরী এবং সিপিএমের রাজ্য সম্পাদক মহম্মদ সেলিম। মুর্শিদাবাদের সিপিএম প্রার্থী সেলিমের মনোনয়ন পেশের নির্ধারিত কর্মসূচি ছিল। অধীর আগেই জানিয়েছিলেন, তিনি সেলিমের মনোনয়ন জমা দেওয়ার কর্মসূচিতে থাকবেন। বৃহস্পতিবার তিনি শুধু রইলেনই না, প্রদেশ কংগ্রেস সভাপতির গলায় শোভা পেল সিপিএমের নির্বাচনী প্রতীক কাস্তে-হাতুড়ি -তারা ছাপা উত্তরীয়। কার্যত সেলিমের ‘কমরেড’ হয়েই তাঁর পাশে রইলেন অধীর। যিনি লড়ছেন মুর্শিদাবাদের পাশের আসন বহরমপুর থেকেই। মুর্শিদাবাদে ভোট গ্রহণ আগামী ৭ মে। অধীরের কেন্দ্রে ১৩ মে ভোট হবে। বহরমপুরের কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী আরও দু’-তিন দিন পরে মনোনয়ন জমা দেবেন। সেখানে থাকার কথা সেলিমেরও। বৃহস্পতিবার মনোনয়ন জমা দিয়েছেন জঙ্গিপুরের কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী মোর্তাজা হোসেন (বকুল)-ও। ফোনে ফোনে জোটের কথা সেরে নিয়েছেন তাঁরা। মুখোমুখি বৈঠক ছাড়াই বাংলায় অন্তত ৩৯টি আসনে (এখনও পর্যন্ত) বাম-কংগ্রেসের বোঝাপড়া স্পষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছে। কিন্তু প্রার্থিতালিকা ঘোষণা, প্রচার— কোনও পর্বেই দুই শিবিরের দুই সর্বোচ্চ নেতাকে এর আগে একসঙ্গে দেখা যায়নি। দুই দলের জেলা স্তরের নেতারা চাইছিলেন দু’জন একসঙ্গে যৌথ কর্মসূচিতে থাকলে নিচুতলায় জোট নিয়ে কর্মীদের জড়তা কাটবে। অবশেষে এক ফ্রেমে দেখা গেল সিপিএম এবং কংগ্রেসের দুই শীর্ষ নেতাকে। তবে কৌতূহল রইল অধীরের মনোনয়নে সেলিমের গলায় হাত চিহ্ন আঁকা উত্তরীয় ওঠে কি না তা নিয়ে গুঞ্জন শুরু হয়েছে ।
